SA: Desire to do good. Desire to live. Desire to
live in peace. No koanic paradox. Kill your dog if
it tries to kill you. I guess it depends on your
practice.
I heard of Tibetan monks that wouldn't fight
violence with violence. Good for them. If I had to
let somebody kill me, without fighting back to be
Buddhist, then I guess I'm not a Buddhist. I don't go
to a Christian church, but I like Christ, so, am I not
a Christian. I like the spiritualness in the woods,
in everyday life, and the insights provided by
shamanism, but I don't follow any routine shamanistic
practices, thus, I guess I'm not a shaman. I like the
Dao, but haven't practiced their ceremonies or been to
a Dao temple, so, I guess I'm not a Daoist. I like
some of the old India teachings, I practice sitting
meditation, I haven't been approved by a master that
I've mastered, I don't find total Jainism release from
the world, and I've only been to temple once, so, I
guess I'm not a Hindu, yogi, etc... Last night, I
made up a soup without a recipe and cooked an
excellent vegetable and toffu, beef broth soup with
some rosemary, ginger root, garlic cloves, a habanero
and some eastern hemlock tea thrown in, but I'm not
considered a chef, yet, we thought it was really good.
Do not desire... what? To live. That sounds
absurd. Think about it. So, what am I? - I think any
answer would not be sufficient, don't you. Unless you
simply say I am SA. For me, it's about making this
simple, not over-complicating events.
woods,
SA
