Nailing it down to a cultural definition does give MoQ an anchor point,
That anchor point is analytics. It's what separates SOM from MoQ.
Treating
MoQ analytically (SOL) gets us nowhere except asserting Euro centrism.
What is being sought is a logic to replace/expand Analytics, a Radical
analytic has been proposed and seems to be more useful. It is being
used currently in science and is the direction analytics is going at the
moment. Ie set theory, Topos, complex systems, the list goes on..
By accepting that SOM is a cultural definition of intellect (analytics)
we leave the door open to all sorts of modes of logic even the logic
of no logic without conflicting one bit with MoQ.
What SOL does is swallow the whole line, hook line and sinker. The same
way SOM does. THE MAIN FEATURE of MOQ is the awareness that S/O is not
the universal way humans perceive experience.. there is no universal way
humans perceive experience therefore ANY static concept is just that, a
static concept. This is a Dynamic intellectual realization. THE DYNAMIC
QUALITY
of intellect is not clinging to static patterns as absolute universals.
we may use static concepts dynamically to further our static
conceptions.
but those static conceptions are simply static conceptions, valuable
based
on dynamic usefulness.(see W.James)
But you say we are so far in, we can't help but to use SOM.
NoT if you use the S/O distinction as descriptors for patterns of
Quality
and NOT things in themselves, for they do not exist as how they are
conceptualized using traditional analytics.
THIS is a subject object Language as Quality intellect. THIS WORKS.
BUT THIS IS NOT what Bo is offering, BO is offering SOM in MOQ clothes
wrapped in lavish rhetoric.
