Agree, particularly your showing what intellectual patterns are, meaning that the MOQ's 4th. level has noting to do with "nominalism", "thinking" or any of these SOM-subjective phenomena, but is all about checking social value, the epitome of which is the Semitic type religion. The Western culture has managed to free itself from its own kind - traditional Christendom - and entered Enlightenment and the various constitutions that sprang from it, the American, French and our humble Norwegian one in 1914 where the said freedoms and rights are all "baked in". Right now in a world perspective Islam is the remaining social value- steeped culture and typically enough what the islamists hate are exactly the said intellectual patterns. Must add that Judaism is the source of which Islam is a re-vitalization and early Christendom a continuation. He began as one but became a Quality thinker and saw that intellect's freedoms & rights are what lets an intellect-steeped culture being overrun.
