Who says they are only patches of color? Why don't you reduce this mental construct down to 'they are only photons' and Krimel will understand you better.

I have not deconstructed extramental form down to photons, and I am not a radical idealist. I have merely stated that the eye experiences only patches of color. Names, definition and other knowledge about trees and rocks is conceptually constructed. patterns of static value, on a flow of dynamic quality.
