Swooping through.
I find the patterns are external, but are not separate, they
are connected, but
they are also internal. I'm not going to use internal or external
any further or
else lines of delineation may confuse what I'm saying.
Confused...
Patterns are mental, but I also find patterns to be value.
Yes, patterns are value.
The patterns in a tree are influenced by the sun and the
source of water, these are main influencers.
The pattern of a tree is influenced by the patterns of the sun and
the patterns of water source. Externally there is no delineation
between tree, sun, water source, and other conditions.
Thus, the roots and thereby the tree may pattern its' trunk and
roots towards the water more. Same if a clearer source of sunlight is in a
nearby clearing. This is not a mental pattern. This is an organic pattern.
All patterns represent mental definitions of what is
occurring. Remove all definitions and etc., and you have direct
experience prior to mental activity. Seems to me.
The tree is valuing sun and water and grows accordingly, values
accordingly.
We only know our patterns via our defining boundaries. We designate
things like trees separating them into conventional entities from the
Dynamic Quality.
With patterns structured that biology class would then intellectually
teach somebody about in more detail or art class would then
intellectually teach somebody about in more detail or somebody
being artistic would intellectually connect with on their own without
the teacher. This isn't about the teacher or who is taught or not.
Do not understand...
Marsha, are you saying all is mental
NO, NO, NO. Patterns are mental. External Nature is process with
no things.
and then all these patterns emerge out of this
mental substratum into organic, society, etc... until a particularly
patterned creature
comes along and can pick up on and perceive and internally noticed
this mental
substratum that is everywhere?
From dq emerge mental patterns that can be categorized into
inorganic, biological, social & intellectual levels.
I feel like poor Bo must feel. What seems perfectly clear to me,
nobody else gets. It might be that I am closer to a truth, or it
might be that my view is peculiar to my configuration of organic,
biological, social and intellectual patterns. Or it could be that I
am mentally running loop-to-loops.
Painting, that's most important. For me. I think...
Here's a question. What is the difference between seeing some
natural phenomena and recognizing it as a zebra, and seeing a picture
of a zebra and recognizing it as a zebra? And what is the
difference between those two and laying in my bed at night and think
about a zebra? What about dreaming about a zebra? Seems to me there
is some pattern that represents a generalized
description/definition/image of zebra that is somehow overlaid onto
all these experiences.
I can't paint 24 hours a day. To bad, huh?
Someday I must paint a zebra. Maybe like Margaret painted a
Corvette. Or maybe on canvas. Anybody want a tattoo?
