I think to be fair, it is a very successful book - too successful - at highlighting and publicizing the hypocrisies and dangers in religious memes - I think Dawkins really is to be congratulated for starting the recent high-profile faith-based-belief debate snowball rolling. More successful than any pope or archbishop in stirring that up in my lifetime. Where Dawkins fails is in his Jihad-style dogmatic belief in science as the the whole alternative.
