Ron, you put it well.  That is exactly why I want to experience Quality by
traveling the road posted with the road signs of Metaphysics of Quality.  I
think of it as tuning into (or living) that frequency, if only for a while.
Harmony is a good metaphor.

Will,
Exactly, the main choice, the big value is the value of shaping quality.
does quality happen or do we mold it in our likeness? if we mold it
we have control of it, to be aware of this control is the first step
in purposful action.
Touching on the concept of virtue, virtue , as you say is the intent
of harmony. vice, it is said is the blindness to this awareness.
That which harmonizes endures.

In the west God is love, a virtue. the buddist say that love is a form of
attachment
and leads to suffering, a vice. Once one loves everything equally, love
as we know it, ceases to exist.

Current theories are very one-sided as though we are evolving into some random
process (this world, nature), by some random process (natural selection),
making us completely random (natural?).  Which means that our thoughts are
random and meaningless (I know that is a jump).  And of course any concept of a
separate God (and I am agnostic) falls by the wayside, which doesn't bother me.
But, if indeed life is viewed through this prism of chance, all philosophy is
chance, as well, and we fall into an existential dilemma of truth and meaning.
I've been there and it is a pretty useless existence.  So, either your life has
meaning or it doesn't, or maybe on good days it does.  You choose your reality,
others can choose theirs; this is a random process after-all, roll the dice...

Ron:
As the dice are limited in it's form -sides and combonations and the force of
the roll, likewise evolutions
randomness is limited by criteria of existence. Form is the power of intention.
knowing this, forging
meaning holds much responsibilty and is as useful as one puts it to use.
Of what use is a newborn baby?

Willblake2:

I like that Ron.  It reminds me of my foray into Toltec shamanism.  At that
time (and maybe now) I thought of Intent as being the root of all, not Quality.
Intent, which is active, certainly describes the universe for me in a
meaningful way.  Intent incorporates Quality.
