Chance arrises when we believe two systems are interacting, without any connection between the two. Mutation is happening and meets the demands of the environment, as an evolutionist would declare. Both the mutation and the environment are created through chance, hmm... I flip a coin, and it comes up heads, what are the chances I would flip that coin? You have a gambler randomly running around pulling slot machines and a jackpot happens. Is neither the machine nor the gambler responsible for the jackpot, but instead something called chance? Is Quality Chance? Is chance the way I should live my life minute to minute, or only when it comes to speculation about what brought me here, not for what I'm doing. Doesn't a photon traveling trough space to create a genetic mutation have just as much purpose and direction as me traveling to work to create a product? Oh, I forgot, I am a spiritual being so I'm different, the photon is just a chancy thingy; it's random, but my actions are not. No, I prefer to think my purpose is just a random statistical event that has no real direction or meaning (unless chance is extremely meaningful). Direction? Purpose? What a stupid notion! The genetic code has no purpose or direction, it is simply chance just like my choice of movies. The laws of the universe are as they are simply through chance; gravity you are lucky to be here...
