Michael,
And this may be the naivety of the approach, "better-ness" is tendency toward
static
patterns, ones which promote existence. Better-ness is be-ing.

MoQ may help one to understand how social quality, intellectual quality
biological
quality inter-relate and how they depend on one another and how that dependancy
dictates the concept of "better-ness" and what it means.
I feel that to use MoQ as a method of making ultimate value distinctions is
missing
the most important message it holds for an individual that Quality is the
experience
of be-ing.

The temptation to use it as a method of ascertaining types of "truths" tends to
draw
one away from the focus on individual expereince being prime.

You may disagree, but this is how I feel about it.

-Ron

MP: I take issue with that statement, Ron. I don't think it is accurate to MoQ.
Quality implies what humans perceive as "better" over "worse." Without that
distinction, Quality is meaningless. Pirsig goes into great detail to show this
in
ZMM. These "certain types" of patterns toward which things tend in Quality
experience are "better" than the one from which they tend.
