Yes, meditation, of course, but how many on this list
practice a regular mindfulness or meditation? Do
you have a regular meditation practice? All we

Ah summer, my favorite time to meditate. Last week I meditated on the
infinite possibility of temporal anomalies and their effect on the
mytho-poetic planet Vulcan. The week before it was war and rage and the pain
of having your bones replaced with cosmic alloy. This week I plan to
contemplate the potential of prophecy to shape a man into a legend and the
effect of a strong mother on organic intelligence and its ability to
preserve humanity in a future dominated by machines. In a month or so I
shall don cap and gown and seek wisdom in the halls and classrooms of the
Hogwart's School.

Krimel,

Instead of regurgitating 'NeuroScience Today', you might try meditation. I'm no advanced student, but I did get far enough to watch patterns cycle through the mind. That would be empirical evidence, rather than second-hand stuff. And really it is quite amazing to see the thinking process first-hand, get an amazing peek at what is being called 'reality'. Laziness is easier by far, especially when you laugh it away with humor, but you are really missing something amazing.
