You must have missed it.   I repeat it above.

If marriage laws were just starting, I think gender should be irrelevent. 
However, I'm leary of applying thousands of case law to gay marriage. 
If there's a way to screw it up, lawyers will find it. 
I think we should experiment with different forms of partnership: marriage, 
civil union, usw.
