[Platt] The "collapse" was caused primarily by government meddling  in the
mortgage market, requiring banks to give loans to deadbeats. The Fed chimed
in by keeping interest rates low: Result:  a housing bubble that burst.

[Platt] Increasing socialism with fascist overtone is hardly what
 Pirsig would call Dynamic. "A free market is a *Dynamic* institution."
(Lila, 17) For Obozo to act "Dynamically," he would have had to decrease,
not increase, government interference in the free market.
