Yeah, I'd have to agree with dave on this one. Because the impetus to dive back to the last static latch which worked is the almost imperative definition of conservative... or reactionary. And it's not an insane impulse, Dave. When in doubt, go with what demonstrably works. I can see Platt's point also. But all things considered, I don't judge it as the right place to go...
