David mb, I find many of your arguments interesting.   But when you make an 
assertion without support, it is very frequently wrong.   I don’t think 
you have a good grasp of the data.

And here’s the perfect example.   Follow the news. 
Cuba , Red China, the Taliban, etc. are notorious for killing good ideas, 
often along with those who hold them.
