Hi Ron Still trying to unravel your mysterious "refutations" of the SOL which are refutations of the MOQ as well, for instance this point from 2 Sep.:
> Per Bo the MoQ is not a model it is reality..... The MOQ creates and thus IS reality - in the same sense that Newton's Gravity Theory is Things' tendency to fall to the ground was suddenly revealed as caused by an universal force called Gravity. Likewise the MOQ suddenly revealed that existence's "evolution" is caused by an universal force called Dynamic Quality and the evolutionary wake is Static Quality. ZAMM's message was that one can't distinguish between Gravity and the Theory of Gravity like SOM does in postulating that gravity is a force of nature that Newton discovered. However Pirsig of LILA suddenly abolished this insight by postulating that Quality is a "force" from eternity that he "discovered". Flex your metaphysical muscle and listen: You put a lot of question marks after my statement that there is a level-like relationship between Intellect and the MOQ, but that of the MOQ making SOM into its own intellectual level sorts this out without loose ends. Inside intellect the S/O logic rules: Gravity is an objective force of nature that Newton discovered - The MOQ however is no intellectual pattern - no objective reality discovered by the mind of Pirsig, but (according to its own premises) and intellectual pattern "taking off on a purpose of its own" Thus MOQ's inorganic level isn't what physics studies > ...... inherent existing subjects and objects is not a model either > it's the natural way in which humans percieve. This is not valid. "Humans" can perceive whatever way. Once the biological level was top notch and "humans" only perceived biological values, then the social level took precedence and the human perception followed suit. When the intellectual level emerged humans started to perceive along its values . Hopefully - on day - humans will begin to perceive the MOQ way, but that alas ....
