Ron and Arlo, I love the way some will resort to hyperbole to make a point. Black or White. Environmentalism tells us how we should live, Capitalism does not. You can be rich, you can be poor, your choice. You can live in a little shack. The precious earth that you want to hike in, for others is a shopping mall. What's better a mall or a park? Your opinion does not make it so. Quality is way beyond our attempts to control, in fact it is out of control.
If such environmentalists want to clean the river, by all means, they should go right out and clean it. Oops somebody threw something in the river again. Well go out again and clean it. Stop flying your lear jets around and driving in SUVs. Stop telling other people how they should live.
