Bodvar to All MOQ Discusss:

I don't know what brought up the Jesus issue,...

and,

But the static intellectual level - as SOM - is as unsatisfactory as the
static social level and I hope/think Christendom will merge with the
MOQ and become a Western "Buddhism/Taoism" ... in a far future
according to the current understanding of the MOQ.

Andre:
Nice to hear your take on the Christendom issue Bodvar and
highlighting the role this Jesus person ( I believe we can assume he
was an historical figure) played in the 'liberation' of the
intellectual level from the social one...albeit tentatively (in
historical terms)...quite radically in his own day because the social
powers that be, executed him.

I'm not sure if Arlo is going to respond but the issue came up because
Platt, along his same neo-con line of reasoning regarding the works of
Mother Theresa, would consider Jesus' role as being driven by
egoistical, self gratifying motivations which simply made his heart
feel better (don't quote me on this ad verbatim). In other words his
motivations were purely selfish. Same as the Zuni shaman in Lila.
Platt, in his inimitable way steamrolls every kind, altruistic,
compasionate act into a self gratifying, selfish motivation which,
without wanting to be too unkind during this Festive Season, says more
about Platt that the persons concerned.

Anyway, this last bit was a side issue.

Regards
Andre
