Platt to Khaledsa:

It takes two to bribe. So in case of your grocer, he can refuse the bribe.
But with government regulations he doesn't have a choice. To me that's
a huge difference, better known as liberty vs tyranny.

But again, the free market isn't perfect. It's just much better than the
alternatives.

Andre:
As I said in my previous post, we are looking at the free market in
the wrong way. Platt doesn't count the static representation....it
takes two to bribe, cheat, control/be controlled, lie, monopolise/
manipulate, regulate, sabotage, help along, get patents for, obstruct,
push along, exploit, renew, exterminate etc, etc...any static
interference in these going on's is gov't interference in disguise and
obstructing the free play of DQ.

We have to look at it dynamically!!!!!!

Dear MoQ'ers...we are all wrong!

Platt, and his ideologists, are the true saviours of this decadent world.

So, for him, I would change Pirsig's poem:

While killing all biological and intellectual patterns
Change all social patterns
Change them completely
And then follow Platt's neo-conservative ideology
And DQ will be served.

I really am looking forward to escaping this Western mythos for awhile.

In all sincerity
Andre

PS; and I am sure Platt will have his gratuitous comments... .
