I'm impressed! No sarcasm! THIS is a most concise presentation of the SOL (interpretation of the intellectual level). Great! Fantastic! It has really been comprehended .... at least by ONE person. > And POP!!! out comes Pirsig and says: NO!!! it is the other way > around: The 'world' comprises static PoV's , 'you' comprise THE SAME > static PoV's. Whatever happens 'in your head' is not subjective or > objective. Popeye the sailor man ;-) But this is no objection but rather SOL's very point. Intellect is a static level so it's S/O schism only goes "skin" deep (till its social root shows) However - before the MOQ, while intellect were SOM - the S/O distinction was regarded to be a bottomless, unbridgeable chasm, and because we know that subject and object (mind and body) interacts freely it created platypuses galore. This is how the MOQ resolves the mind/matter paradox, not Pirsig's tedious method in LILA. > All are static patterns of value. The world comprises you and you > comprise the world. The DISTINCTION has evaporated. Perhaps this is what you say here? However it's only the distinction in its metaphysical - SOM - form that evaporates. The S/O (minus "M") is the highest and best static value.
