That's right. Once the Quality context was revealed the whole
existence crystallized along its seed. There are several instances of
such re-crystallizations. When SOM arrived - and by and by its
science - the old religious reality that once dominated, changed into a
mere scientific study and faith itself into something subjective.I.e. a
SOM subset.

> Was SOM not always a pattern of value?

No, while SOM, its Q-intellect role was still to come, the S/O schism
was reality. (ref. the Newton example) Existence was dualistic, two
realms on each side of a bottomless abyss. This caused paradoxes
galore, but like me everyone thought existence to be paradoxical.

NB! Afterwards from within the MOQ reality it looks as if everything
has been value from eternity, That's the privilege of the ruling
metaphysics.

> Is the MOQ not a static pattern of value?

Of course not, it's neither static nor dynamic, it's the DQ/SQ reality
itself!.

> If not, what is it?

It's a metaphysics in the true "... no one living in an ordered universe
can avoid ...etc." sense, before Pirsig shifted to the Aristotelian
(SOM) "theory about reality" kind.

> The MOQ says that all of reality is contained within the four static

Again. It IS the Quality Reality that now has incorporated SOM. No
other approach is possible without being sucked back into SOM. In a
sense the static range can be viewed as ever new realities
incorporating the former. I know that when it comes to the MOQ it
kind of makes it sound "static", but at these heights it's not easy to get
everything right, it's not every day a new reality is born, not since the
Greeks by the way.
