Hi Marsha
No grovelling (or gravelling) required at all - very un-MoQish.
In fact, even agreement isn't required where you find yourself disagreeing.
I know Dave's spent the last few years working his arse off to acquire
the knowledge he has now and over the last few weeks I've noticed a
distinct change in his style. He's knowledgeable, confident and very
witty when he chooses - and that's not grovelling, just an
acknowledgement of what he's achieved by hard work and determination -
and I think that comes across in what he writes.
I also think he's nailed much of what the MoQ is about and it's well
worth paying attention to what he says. Which doesn't mean blind
acceptance or, as above, even agreement. What it does mean though is
criticism with the content of his work and not necessarily with the
style with which he presents it.
Good manners costs nothing and there are a number of people on this list
who should have that printed in large letters next to their monitors -
myself included!
Cheers

Horse,
Dave may know what he's talking about, and I may not know what I'm talking
about,
but regardless of all my sniping, I wish Dave much success.
Horse, should I gravel even lower? I can you know. And mean it.

By being a bit more gracious and admitting that Dave does know what he's

How can one compete with the ample credit that Dave gives himself?
