A distinction without a difference as far as the issue of censorship
is concerned. Much evidence has been presented that Bo's ideas are
indeed the same as Pirsig's.

Except that Pirsig has said they are not. You're argument is solely
that Pirsig is too stupid to understand what he must've meant. Horse
is correct to call this out.
No one is "censoring" Bo, he can shout all day long about how his SOL
is better than Pirsig's MOQ. You can too. As I said, no harm and no foul.
