Hi Mary and all, In a DQ/SQ metaphysics some things remain undefined. Take ³individual² for instance. As an object within an evolutionary level ³individual² is defined SQ. As a level of evolution ³individual² as it pertains to the level itself is indefinable DQ. The individuation produced in evolution to make levels discernible to other levels is DQ. DQ only levels of higher emotional and higher intellectual evolution (the realms of heroes) make possible heroic activities like the MOQ proposed by Pirsig.
