If I hold this seriously for a moment, don't assume I thought you
meant it seriously.

I have examined this argument. It takes its power from the visceral
experience of the victim and therefore derives all reality from the
victim's "real" unwillingness to be hurt. Compare:

1. Is this real? (Hit your victim with a rock.)
2. Is this real? (Hit yourself with a rock.)

The master will make no distinction.
