There shouldn't be any problem with over-pricing of UK universities, since in a
free market, if the same value
can be had for less cost, another university will offer it and attract the
student. £9000 tuition x 4 years = £36,000 total tuition does not seem too
high a price, since
"UK workers with a degree earned an average weekly income
of £632, more than double the weekly income of £298 for those with no
qualifications". So degree earners can pay for their education in 108 weeks.
Much better than having the taxes of the workers without a degree subsidize
those earning one.Craig
