Hi Mary, I have not heard such laments, probably because I do not watch television, and yes I agree it just adds additional unnecessary suffering. Old habits die hard I suppose, especially during such extreme stress. It's always easy to think clearly when things are going along okay; I have asked myself how I would react to such devastation: I honestly don't know. Marsha p.s. To bad you live in Texas.
