Mark now says: Obama has actually brought about a lot of good. He has single-handedly destroyed labor bargaining rights for public employees. He is also trying to destroy all bargaining rights of public employees such as the Transportation Unions. As the result of his direction with the public employees in Washington DC (no unions allowed), we are well on our way towards abolishing private unions as well.
What else can we thank Obama for? Well, he has demonstrated that dreams are indeed important. When he shut down the Space Shuttle program, many realized that it was indeed an important part of the American Dream. He is also demonstrating that it is not the American Dream to own electric cars. It is too bad he invested so much of your money in that project. He has shown that the pursuit of happiness is alive and well, thank you Obama! Through example, he has shown that some do not deserve tax loop-holes. For the year 2011 he described deductions totaling more than $250,000. I am not quite sure what expenses he had that he could deduct, unless it was his corporate jet. Oh, yeah, he had to send his daughters to private school since the local public one was not good enough. But hey, it is good enough for the rest of you peons. During his presidency the gap between the rich and the poor has grown to its highest level since the great depression. Perhaps that was one of his deductions, I wouldn't know, I do my taxes through TurboTax. During his three years, the nation has become more dependent of food-stamps since the Great Depression. But, if one receives food-stamps, one must pay taxes on it. You cannot deduct the fact that you are going hungry. And if you are expecting charity, well the pres. wants to tax that into his pocket. There is the largest unemployment ever of blacks between 18 and 28, ever. Now, some have called Obama racist, and it is not simply because he only hires white presidents, of GE and the like, to work for him, but possible more due to his attitude towards the Jewish community and his support of the eradication of Israel through Iranian nuclear attack (whatever happened to putting his boot on Irans neck?) The recovery of last summer is now a memory. There is a legal moratorium on oil drilling in the Gulf, and the residents of those states are now turning to food-stamps. Sad that the spill was not all that bad, but Obama made certain that we would think it was. His push for exports has not fuel, and now that Chavez is sick, he has lost all friends in that neighborhood. By excessively spending, Obama has taught the average American what happens if one spend more than his income. This is a good thing, don't get me wrong, but he is not too educational on what should be done if one goes into a Great Debt. I realize that economics is not his strongest suit, but why have all his economic advisors quit? They aren't Black or Jewish. His treasure secretary can now leave since the debt ceiling has been lifted, I am sure he cannot get away fast enough, to start making some real money on the circuit. What else do we Americans have Obama to be thankful for? He spoke eloquently in his speech following the shooting of that congresswoman from Arizona, who, by the way, returned today to congress to make sure that democrats would vote yes on the bill. I don't know, but did Obama invite her there? So, following his eloquent speech, he has trashed the Republicans anytime he can. Today he called some republicans Terrorists. Often it is not best to lead by example, but better to show how ugly politics can get if there is no civility. Lately Obama has been threatening veterans that if a debt ceiling is not raised, they will not get paid. Why doesn't he pick on somebody his own size? Those poor Navy Seals... This rhetoric follows his warning that social security checks would not go out, something that never happened when they closed the government on Regan over 16 times! And, lets not forget the old ladies and autistic children being abandoned in droves. I am not sure why he has to be so scary, is it that fear works? OK, some other good things that have resulted from Obama's principles: People cannot eat too much salt in New York. There is no smoking on the beaches of Southern California. I am not sure if Obama is part of the ban against circumcision in San Francisco (since is member was prominently displayed on FaceBook next to Weiner's), but he certainly has some skin in the game there. That McD's can no longer give out toys with their "Happy Meals", has created many "Sad Meals", but we need to blame his wife for that one. Sure, children should eat healthy, but why should they HAVE to buy their meals at school. Is Obama making money in this scam like he is with the Social Security Ponsie Scheme? God only knows. And God would know, since BHO claims he is a partner of God's. He is not the "Anointed One" as an obnoxious talking head on Fox states, but he is the "One Who Anoints". "Arise, sir Dingy Harry Reed, and wipe that oatmeal off your bib". So, let us take a minute an be thankful for our blessings, before they are taken away. In God We Trust.
