Hi Arlo
You said,
According to the MOQ, intellectual patterns of value do not
spontaneously arise from the biological level. They emerge from the
social level.

Huh ? You are telling me the obvious, right ? Because you think I
don't understand that ?

If a human were dropped on a desert island, do you not believe the
social and intellectual levels come with him or her ?
Even a human dropped at birth with no life memory, would have a lot of
"hard-wired" empathies and intellectual capacities I suspect ...

The idea of a biological human "starting" with no social or
intellectual patterns. Can't imagine that in the evolutionary life of
the species or the life of the individual. There is / was always
something before the start.

Anyway - I think we're over-stretching what Michael was suggesting as
a (good, simple) pragmatic suggestion.
