Hi Mark and All, I describe evolution as describing discrete levels in existence. Focusing attention is useful when describing levels in existence, evolution. For me looking through a microscope (a tool for visual enlargement a little stronger than a pair of binoculars) is the analogy I use for cutting through the obscurity involved in conceptualizing the logic for levels in existence, evolution!
