The purpose of this forum is to talk about a set of philosophical ideas known
as the MOQ. What could be more appropriate than a careful analysis of those
ideas? It's like complaining about mechanical precision at the auto repair
shop. These complaints are fantastically idiotic.

If the purpose of this forum is to discuss the moq, somewhere in that
discussion, the question ought to be raised, well what is the purpose of the
MoQ? It certainly cannot be simply the intellectual analysis of itself,
dave. And if the purpose of the MoQ is, as I claim, to help us live a better
life, then I think endless intellectual analysis takes us further from that
goal rather than toward it. .., FANTASTICALLY idiotic dave?

dmb says:
Yes, fantastically.
You are defending the indefensible with nonsense.
How are you going to answer the question that ought raised without first
understanding what Pirsig means? It's just a matter of logical necessity. You
can't know what the purpose of the MOQ is unless and until you do the reading
and thinking (i.e. intellectual analysis). If you think you can say anything
intelligible about the purpose the MOQ, let alone say anything meaningful,
without doing honest work, then you're living in a fantasy world wherein we can
ignore logical necessities and get what we want just by wishing for it. That's
just not how this art form works, Mister.
