[DMB] "Perhaps the most common and dangerous of these is confirmation bias, the tendency to seek out information in accordance with our previous views and ignore or dismiss information contrary to those views."
[Arlo] Some days I don't know where you continue to find the gumption, DMB. Have a great presentation at Montana State Univeristy's Pirsig Conference next month. I am sure the dialogue there will be very high Quality (maybe a pleasant change for you?), in part because of the knowledge and insight into Pirsig's ideas you will bring. Please tell Lee Glover to consider making her film available on-line following the conference, it sounds fascinating. In fact, please ask to the event organizers to consider posting information and materials from all the presentations online post-conference.
