She wants "proof" that the accusations of emptiness and evasion are true even
while she demonstrates that those accusations are true by responding with more
of the same evasive emptiness.
If this woman ever has a moment of serious reflection, she'll probably die of
embarrassment. Do they give awards for "most oblivious person"?
