Here, Arlo, is where you make sense to me:

The entire region north of State College (North-Central Pennsylvania) is mostly
federal and state lands, so it is a beautiful, preserved and 'detoxing' place
to visit. Since the state game commission has restored the Elk populations, you
also occasionally encounter these magnificent animals (on a motorcycle, though,
you hope its from a manageable distance!). North of Sinnemahoning is a place
called Cherry Springs State Park, which is an open night-sky 'observatory'. On
a clear night, its one of the few places left in the entire area where you can
actually see the band of the Milky Way. Its a nice place to camp, and spend a
night just staring at the night sky (just watch for coyotes that might try to
steal your leftovers).
