The "con" "Cum (with)?" (part of "conceptual"?) left Pirsig with no alternative but to opt for indefinable DQ. "Con" seems to be attached to Cum latin for with. Con (with consciousness) and ceptual (capture ?) used together seem to be strange bedfellows! But metaphysics DQ/SQ conquers all.
