[Case]

"In short this talk of inorganic matter having purpose and values
strikes me as animism. Imbuing the mindless with mind and agency seem to
me to be a regression in understanding not an advance."

[Ron]
What I have learned is that we as human animals simplify our experience.
I'm talking the limits
of perception not so much probability. Probability is a function of the
simplification process.
Probability is formed from pre-conception, same with Possibility, the
simplification process
is symbolized in it's basic form the limit of the round. So the
concepts "purpose" "meaning"
"beginning", "end"
are patterns of the simplification of perception. We can not think out
side of this!
But just knowing this is how our brain functions gives us an insight
into our perception
of accuracy (truth)when you get to Quantum theory or origins of the
universe or where
It is headed or who made it or you or why. Objective reality is ever
changing and mostly
impossible to fully percieve much less retain and still function. I have
come to the conclusion
that our awareness is limited just as much by our preconceptions as it
is by our ability
to perceive phenomena.
