the best of intentions reap nought when they are
coupled with ignorance.
how can u fix the world? with a vote? with words? with
a magic wand?
DQ acts *through* us, individually - through our
personal predilections and preferences. it cannot act
through us when *we* are in the way.
one becomes a man/woman when they have *assimilated
and transcended* the explicit morality of their
society. the lion slaying the dragon, reborn as a
child. the man/woman's heartmind now becomes their
sole moral compass.
this stage of true adulthood is blocked by a society,
like ours, which keeps the individual in a perpetual
state of adolescence. only immature dogs bark; only
immature humans talk of explicit moral judgements.
to act in accord with the Tao, is to act in accord
with the Tao. The Tao is not knowledge; the Tao is not
judgement; the Tao is not any object.
To act in accord with the Tao is to act in accord with
one's inner nature; it is the unimpeded outer
expression of one's inner nature. we can only act in
accord with our own inner nature, not someone elses.
the world is schizophrenic; a world full of manichean
diversions: us and them always. how can we heal a
split world without healing our split soul?
there is no right and wrong! there is only nature.
there is only the Tao. everything is as it should be;
we can either accept this and act, effortlessly, with
the Tao or continue to struggle upstream, getting more
and more confused and tired.
how can the universe be wrong? it is not an answer, it
is a question: what do you will? do what you will.
do you know what freedom means?
