I was wondering if anyone has some tips on helping students rhyme.

Exposure to nursery rhymes, poetry, and music where rhymes are apparent.
The more he/she hears rhymes in patterns, the better are the chances that
he/she will recognize the rhyming sounds.
I think perhaps one reason why kids today have more trouble with rhyming is
because parents are not exposing children to the nursery rhymes and simple
poems and songs that parents once shared regularly with their kids. Although
now there is Dora and Blue's Clues which offer other good skills, rhyming is
not as apparent.
Chances are this child you are working with is not just going to "get it" right
away though if she/he hasn't been exposed to rhyming patterns in nursery
rhymes, songs and poems before.
I say, SING often, read nursery rhymes, and share simple poetry as often as
possible.
