I couldn't even begin to guess what other teachers do with their summers. As for me, I generally do a lot of random thinking about what I might do the same or differently, and I also do some reading that relates to teaching in some way.

Right now, I am rereading Zen and the Art of Motorcycle Maintenance, which is more about teaching than it is about motorcycles. Or Zen. Or Art.
