While there is still no great numbers of waterfowl that I have found in eastern
Carver County, I was able to find a little more variety at the Chevalle
wetlands in Chaska. Today's birds included Canada Geese, Mallard, Hooded
Merganser, Ring-necked Duck, Redhead, Green-winged Teal, Common Goldeneye,
Ring-billed Gull, and Herring Gull. Also, near Purgatory Creek in Eden
Prairie there have been Golden-crowned Kinglets the past 2 days.
