on linux for me it is. I run one instance of mozilla -mail and one of
the browser. Each use different profiles and everything. They are
completely seperate (I don't actually remove the menu items but I
basically ignore them. When one crashes the other stays up. The problem
with this model is that it takes twice the resources and has little
appreciable benefit.
