Sah-weet!  So who want to run the pool for guessing when these guys get
shut down by AOL?

Actually now that I think about it, I wonder if the way to go would be
not to make the client interface directly, but rather to write an NNTP
proxy which hooked into these systems.  Then you could use any
newsreader, not just Maozilla.  That'd certainly be the "Open" way to do
it.

The value would be immense and twofold:

1.  I never met an email or newsgroup web interface I liked.  Nobody
else has either.
2.  No banner ads, popups, crazy crap, etc.
