> I, too, hate html mail and if format=flowed > falls into that category, then I wish people would turn it off. format=flowed mails are just ordinary text/plain mails which stores some information about line breaks and quoting level by following some conventions laid out in RFC 2646. (Home exercise, without reading the RFC, look at the mail source and try to figure out in what way it differ from a normal text/plain non-format=flowed mail) The problem is that we presently can't preserve this information in the compose window without using the vertical bar. On the other hand, could someone tell us _why_ they hate the vertical bar? It would be most interesting to know, so that we can make the message display better. /Daniel
