It's inconsistent:
- It's different than what I'm used to (without being "better" - if
you're used to "> ", the blue line gives no gain)
- If it isn't used for non-flowed, then it's used inconsistently
- If it *is* used for non-flowed, it can cause loss of information (and
not just if the UA makes a mistake - consider a mathematical or
programming comment that includes a statement like x > 3, with
wordwrapping turned on)

It's ugly:
- The blue is too bright. Is the color configurable, at least?
