Really, it would be nice if you could also use lame as a tool to increase
awareness of free software in the windows world.. If lame is LGPLed then
companies might consign it to the depts of /windows/system never to be
seen by the user. :(

Is there a way w/ the stock LGPL to make sure that user knows they are
using LAME which is free? Sorta like an electronic version of the BSD
advert clause?
