Try following when you want to resample 38125 to 44100:
* change samplerate without resampling to 44100, sound will for 15.6%
speedy and shorten now. In many cases it should be useable without any
following processing.
* change pitch (to 38125/44100) and length (to 44100/38125) for this
sample.
Thats all. You can done it complettely for example in shareware trial
version of CoolEdit, or SoundForge. But I am not sure, if you can define
exact numbers like 0,8645124716553 and 1,156721311475, I not use these
editors for loooonnnnnggggg time. CoolEdit has Batch processing (Forge as
expensive plugin only), you can change all sounds when you sleep.
Or try SOX with resample option in Linux, but I believe that is for DOS
too.
