has probably never been tested so you might find a few

sox (linux) will resample for you, but be sure to use the 'resample'
option, it is much higher quality.

I think I'll give sox a shot. Also, I think the music in Elemental Gearbolt should be some nice tests for LAME anyway. Very operatic, wide-ranging, airy, breathy, lots of strings, hehe. Beautiful music too for anyone who has never seen the game. Great game to boot, one of the rare jewels in my collection. =)

If anyone would like me to try some 38.125 kHz files within LAME to see how it handles it I'm game. I've already converted all the .dm, .xa, .dsm, etc stuff to .WAV for a LOT of games. Takers?
