May Day Festival and Uptown Artfair - VOLUNTEERS NEEDED!!! ArtiCulture needs your
help to staff informational and art project booths at the MAY DAY FESTIVAL and the
UPTOWN ART FAIR. Several people are needed for each shift, and you don't need to know
anything about art to help out: Just be willing to be there and have fun.
As some of you know ArtiCulture is a new non-profit visual arts organization in South
Minneapolis. We are now almost a year old and have gotten great support from the
community. I started this organization because I got tired of doing this in a suburb
and having patrons leave the city to take quality art classes, and art summer camps
for their kids, etc... ArtiCulture is bringing some of this wonderful cultural stuff
into a community that didn't have anything.

(612-729-5151 -- and please leave a message if you get voice mail). Those who
volunteer for 6 or more hours per year will be given a one-year membership (10 hours
for household membership).
