Many Crows,

i think it is overboard to judge people's personal votes. i try to look
beyond people's dress and focus on substance. For those who would find the
Green Party to be a "joke" because they don't like how a candidate dresses,
i really don't care. Booty, however did seem to be trying to communicate a
substantive message through his dress, which I interpreted to be that he was
not going to conform to the superficial conventional politics. And most
significant to me, substantively, was that Booty was the Mayoral candidate
who most clear and unequivocally expressed an understanding and opposition
to police abuse, the seriousness of which you vividly describe below. .

I will probably will not be supporting or voting for Booty in the general
election because he did not demonstrate enough practical experience or
understanding to operate effectively as Mayor. But he did offer enough
substance and style to see some encouragement.
