I would be interested in anyone who has received this Police sample ballot from the Police Federation noting to me whether I am listed on their ballot? I never applied for endorsement from them (and probably never would) but last week got a call that I had received their endorsement and where should they send a check. I called them back to say that I was not interested in receiving their money. Yesterday I did receive a letter in the mail saying they had endorsed me. How can one figure - they don't know me, I don't know them - other than as a potent figure in Mpls. Politics. I am assuming this all happened because of my relationship with the Park Police which is very close. I enjoy working with my Park officers and want to support them. This does not translate to seeking or wanting their endorsement. I did not and do not condone the Hwy 55 fiasco, nor ISAG or the containment zone that it feels like is set up on Bloomington Avenue in my neighborhood. Sample ballot???
