This is not "taking" contributions. Legal contributions from PACs and others are completely separate issues form independent expenditures. Do not confuse one, where the candidate has control, with the other where the candidate has none.
This has nothing to do with glass houses or hypocrisy. RT better damned well not have anything to do with independent expenditures. One ids principle, the other is law. But apparently this ignorance of the law - or is it? - continues to serve those who would like to discredit the opponent.
